* During the peak Sockeye run is when the crowds are the biggest. One of the benefits of Great Alaska is the private fishing where you can avoid the crowds.

Castaway Riverside

Castaway Riverside joined our selection of properties in 2019 and is a beautiful resort located on the banks of the Kenai River.  Castaway features an RV park, RVs for Rent, 1 bedroom lodging, 2 bedroom lodging and 2 bedroom stand-alone cabins.  Castaway can be booked with our without an Alaskan Fishing Adventures fishing package.  You may also add an Alaskan Fishing Adventures meal plan to your Castaway stay.

    Trip of a Lifetime

    I wanted to take my 2 sons on a trip of our lifetime and that is exactly what we got. Mark and Julie run a first class operation all the way around. All the employees we met were very friendly, nice and very accommodating. The entire lodge was very clean, neat and well maintained. The food was very good and the husband and wife team of chefs were eager to meet any special requests if possible. Rod the lodge host was always accommodating and made a darn good drink. Lori who did most of the morning cooking is just a sweetheart and made my boys and I seem special. I would highly recommend the fly out trip as it is very special as well as the trophy rainbow trip. The guide Joe out of Homer was great too. I enjoyed it so much I would love to take my wife to see it. We just loved pretty much every minute.

    Just Perfect!

    Researched numerous options for our Kenai fishing trip and Alaskan Fishing Adventures was our choice, and it did not disappoint. My two sons and I had five awesome days at the lodge. We had guided trips to Homer, the Kasilof River and the Kenai River catching fish every day! Also, as the Pinks were running, caught those at the lodge's pier. The staff were friendly and helpful, as well as fantastic guides who made sure we had a great time. No need to search anyone else, Alaskan Fishing Adventures is your pick!
