We offer daily fly-out trips for Sockeye Salmon starting in early June through the middle of July. Your scenic 20-25 minute air flight takes you across the Cook Inlet to a variety of possible final destinations where you’ll disembark the plane and get into 4 passenger power boats. Your guide then takes you on a scenic boat ride to Wolverine Creek where thousands of Sockeye Salmon gather to go up the creek and then spawn. This area also happens to be the perfect location for bear viewing. Brown bears and black bears gather at the creek-head to catch and feast on Salmon to fatten up for a long winter’s hibernation. After fishing, your guide will motor back to the awaiting plane for a scenic flight over the glacier and then back home.
You can arrange for a Fly-Out day trip either separately or as part of your fishing package. Extra charge applies.
